The Metea Valley World Language Department believes that the heart of interaction is the ability to communicate. Language Learning promotes understanding, acceptance, and respect for others. In an increasingly global and diverse society, knowing another language is essential and should be part of every person's education. Learning a new language prepares students to be global citizens by developing an awareness and appreciation of other cultures and perspectives.
